Triple Chocolate Brownie

Hello Everyone! As promised a new recipe to satisfy your sweet treat cravings. You know, I promised to stay consistent and I am keeping to that promise. This is a special birthday edition so be nice x.

Ingredients

  1. 200g Butter 
  2. 100g Dark (70% cocoa) 
  3. 100g Milk (about 35% cocoa)
  4. 100g white chocolate 
  5. 100g white sugar 
  6. 100g light brown sugar 
  7. 120g Plain flour 
  8. 3 medium eggs 
  9. 1 egg yolk 
  10. 30g cocoa powder 
  11. 1/2 teaspoon of salt 

Method 

Preheat an oven to 180°C

  1. Melt the butter, dark and milk chocolate with the cocoa powder and set aside to cool completely. (This helps to bloom the cocoa powder and enriches the taste of the brownie). 
  2. Whisk the sugars, eggs and egg yolk together on high speed for 5 whole minutes 
  3. Add the cooled butter chocolate mixture and fold in to combine 
  4. Add the flour, salt and mix very carefully until just combined 
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chunks very gently until combined. 
  6. Bake in a square tin (mine was 20cm x 20cm x 5cm) for 30 minutes at 180 °C. 
  7. Leave to cool completely in the tin overnight (if able) and enjoy.
